CERTIFIED MSL CONSTRUCTION

Why is MSL construction a step ahead on SUP’s built in single layers and double layers?
The type of construction is key element when it’s time to purchase your SUP .
We only use MSL construction for our SUP! What is MSL ?
MONOCOQUE, STRUCTURAL, LAMINATE
Drop stitch is the material inside an inflatable board. Thousands of tiny threads run throughout the inside of the board, between the top and bottom layers. As the board is inflated the threads pull tight and help to give it it's shape. MSL involves using a second layer of military grade PVC to the drop stitch core at the raw material stage. This process is removing the hand gluing errors that are made when using a double layers SUP. This industrial process also help to reduce the weight up to 2.5 kg and help to the rigidity of the SUP.
The maximum air pression on our SUP is 16 PSI.
The MSL construction provides you the best rigidity it also slide better on the water and it’s also less heavy than other construction. The lifespan of an MSL sup is longer than other.
Why we don’t suggest you to buy a single layer or a double layer ?
The Single Layer : The Inflatable sup made of single layer are the less expensive but they also worth less. The drop stitch core is made of a single ply sheets from the top to the bottom and it’s sealed with a side flexible PVC. These SUP’s are more bouncy and less rigid so the boards become with the same shape has a banana.. They are susceptible to leakage and due to a short lifespan..
The Double Layer : The inflatable sup made of double layer are way heavier than other constructions. This process starts with an inner bladder made with single layer construction, but then the entire bladder is laminated with an additional sheet of PVC coated fabric. Boards made this way are superior in durability, rigidity, than single layer and are less prone to leakage since they have additional coating layers between the fabric sheets. The additional layer adds about 3-4 LB to board weight, it changes the game when you wanna travel with the SUP.
